Changchung West railway Station is a railway terminal of the Harbin-Dalian district of the Beijing-Harbin High-Speed Rail and the Changchung-Jilu Intercity Railroad. It is situated at the southern end of the town of Changchung, in the Gansu province of eastern China. The Changchung railway terminal is in close proximity to the main airport of Dalian, the capital city of Gansu. The Changchung railway terminal is the nearest railway terminal to Dalian International Airport.

The railway station was previously known as the Beijing Huangshan railway station before it was renamed to mark the location of its future rail link. A new railway line was built along the same route, which has been extended to Jilu'an.

Changchung is one of many cities located on the high plateau of the central plateau of Gansu Province, which was given the name of Huangshan. This city is located in close proximity to some of the busiest cities of China, including Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu. The Gansu province is considered one of China's top 10 development centers.

In the past, China had developed the area of Gansu into one of its largest agricultural centers. Today, it is a thriving industrial region with several major industries such as aluminum smelters and chemical production plants, but it is still considered the country's top agricultural producer.

The city of Gansu is located on a peninsula facing China's Pacific Ocean. It has the most important inland rail station of the Gansu City (the Gansu East railway station), which is near the Huangshan Mountain Range. Changchung is only 40 kilometers away from the Huangshan Mountain Range and is in close proximity to Beijing, where the Huangshan Mountain Range rises to the north.

The railway station has been a commercial and residential center for more than six decades. The main business center is the Huangshan River Business Park, which is the site of major transnational corporations such as ChangChun Airlines and Huairou, among others.

The railway station is the second-busiest station of the Gansu City, with more than one million commuters daily using the trains and buses to get to work. The railway station also serves two major airports, the regional airport and the Beijing Guodian International Airport. The Changchung West railway station is the main terminus for all public transportation in the area.

Most of the trains available to the Changchung West railway station come in two kinds: the high speed train and the low speed train. The low speed trains are mostly used by local commuters to get to and from the Changchung West Railway Station. High speed trains are more commonly used by tourists, travelers and businessmen who need to travel long distances in order to reach their destinations.

The railway station is situated on the west bank of the Huangshan River and has a long history. It was previously named Longhe Road Station, which was the name of an ancient Chinese city which was located close to the river. Today it is called the Huangshan Road Station after the Huangshan Mountains.
