The Hangzhou East Railway Station

The Hangzhou East Railway Station is a major travel hub in China. It is located just east of the city of Hangzhou, in the Xintai Mountains, and is the main railway station for the city and surrounding areas. Situated on the western edge of the city, the railway station is situated in the center of a small mountain valley and serves as the terminus for all rail lines from the city of Hangzhou as well as the nearby areas.

In November, 2020, it's about 5 miles away (8 kilometers) from Hangzhou East Railway Station, five miles from South Lake and five miles from West Lake. You can take buses to the various destinations in the city or you can take a private taxi to take you where you need to go.

The railway station is surrounded by the city and town center on all sides. You can get to the railway station by car, but the easiest way is to take the East-West railway line, which runs along the east bank of the river Huangpu and then crosses over the Huangpu River.
